Onesies are great to wear to bed to hold that wet and messy diaper as close to the bum as possible, but they make the rest of the body too warm.

Just wear them overnight.

Well, id normally agree with pappy but im in a pickle like you in the sense that in the summer I am usually shirtless. That said, what can you do to conceal your diaper and/or stay reasonably cool?

I have some plain color onesies that I wear in the summer when it's too hot to wear a T-shirt over my cute onesies. No one that sees me knows it snaps on the bottom, it just looks like I have my shirt tucked in. 😀

If you understand how fabric works significantly more than the average person,

Then you would know that Cotton loses the ability to retain heat once it gets wet.

What that means is as soon as you start to sweat into cotton, the heat transfers directly through it.

This makes cotton a BAD fabric to use in order to KEEP warmth in the WINTER.

And therefore a GOOD fabric to use to ELIMINATE warmth in the SUMMER.

So long story short, if you're wearing a cotton onesie, you'll be cooler.

I want to get a onesie and some point

I switched to wrestling singlets a few years ago and they are now a staple
of my clothing. Always cooler and if I need added warmth I just wear a t shirt
or sweater on top. Holds the diaper nice and snug and conceals it all too.
(except for the swelling when the diaper gets wet)

How about shortalls? Don't wear a shirt and the suspenders will keep your diaper in place.
