Urge incontinence in the morning

Does anybody else have urge incontinence in the morning?
I find that I am not having nighttime accidents but Shortly after waking up in the morning, I cannot hold it very long before Urine starts coming out.
This seems odd to me as I never have nighttime accidents but as soon as I wake up, it’s like my bladder wakes up and it starts spurting out. Does anybody else have this?

I have bladder incontinence every night. But I often have fecal incontinence shortly after waking up. Like getting up and moving my bowel wakes up. I do have fecal IC at night as well but it is worst in the morning. Often after setting in the car and getting up I have both bladder and fecal incontinence get me too, Normally with my key in the door, trying to rush to the restroom.

I get this after getting out of bed. I leak through the night but rarely do I fully wet myself in bed. If I head straight to the kitchen and start the coffee maker I've lost control. Same thing starting the shower.

I get this. Often I wake up with a strong urgency to pee, and it's a rush to the toilet. Fortunately, I discovered long ago that compressing the underside of my penis will close my urethra, so I'm able to make it in time easily by doing that.

Yes, i do wake up in the night (or in the morning the first time on good days) with a strong urge but i do not wet the bad usually.
When waking up from it i can not wait at all, i need to go asap, when not i will loose control. When my back or hip hurts badly, it takes me more time to get up, sometimes ending i a puddle.

Almost every morning, by the time that I sit up, and then stand up, the urge hits. SInce my diaper is already wet, I just try to release it all to avoid retention before I head to the washroom for a shower.

I experience U-IC/F-IC. The majority of my BM accidents happen while sleeping (sleep like a coma). The other occurs in the morning (half asleep or just getting up). Obviously I don't know about my bladder or bowels behavior when sleeping. I just know that when I get up my diaper is soaked and often dirty.

"Worst" is a word used for types of incontinence. Including urgency. When I'm awake, it always includes strong and fast urge. As being IC since the beginning, I don't know what it would feel like if I wasn't. It's simply reality. My only concern is if I haven't been unable to change. "Worst" when I had a soiled diaper, whether my diaper is loaded or soaked, it's not about urgency but when (or how) to change.

I have urge IC (bladder and bowel) and I’ve had it for my whole life, though it has gotten more severe in the last 32 years or so (since my 20’s).

My urine output is naturally higher in the mornings because I am more hydrated. I am usually dehydrated in the afternoons so less urine output. For me, my nerve dysfunction is exactly the same, how much I pee, and therefore how wet my diaper is, just depends on how hydrated I am.

Aaa, the Wonderful World of IC! So many causes with like results!

The way my Spinal Specialist puts it is: The normal communication between your head and your kidneys is to normally slow it's activity down when sleeping and back to normal (or, for some, above normal) processing rate during the day. Yes, Hydration has an effect and keeping oneself hydrated is very important to the health of our urinary system.

Because of issues attributed to the car crash, I have impaired communication at the L5-S1, which for some reason results in varying communication with my kidneys, more common at night. Last night, the switch was left full-on and all night as I flooded a NS MegaMax!

Trying plastic pants maybe a life saver, or at least provide you with dryer legs!

i experience this too though...I have no idea how my bladder behaves when sleeping. All I know is that my diaper is soaked (and often dirty) when I getup. As soon as I awake it usually becomes like a flash flood. Actually anytime during the day. Strong urge and also fast. When I'm not sleeping, I sometimes feel the same urge when defecate later in the morning (if I hadn't had one during bedtime). Being incontinent (during the day), regardless of the causes, having sudden urgency helps to keep me clean. I don't know what I would do without my diaper.

With my urge incontinence, it really doesn’t matter what time of day it is; I’ve got a few seconds from the start of an urge to the beginning of a bladder void. I can’t hold it back and no longer feel a filling or full bladder so it’s literally anyone’s guess as to when the urge will hit. Some mornings the urge will hit more than an hour after I get out of bed, and other mornings the urge is there the second I wake up. I always wet at night with no signal to get up and go, so a wet diaper in the morning is nothing new to me. A dry diaper in the morning is a novelty. Might have a few in a year that are dry, and usually in the warmer months. Sometimes if I can make it and hold the urge, I’ll use the toilet regardless of my diaper being wet or dry. Just trying to hold on to any control I can keep with my bladder.

I'm generally pretty solid overnight, but yeah, when I get up and start moving then it's a crapshoot as to whether I make the toilet in time without leaking before I'm set.

I have urge incontinence and wear a pad for it the minute I stand I I have to pee then it stops when I get to the loo and have to wait to pee its strange

I wet the bed every night and so will always wake up with a wet diaper/nappy. As others have said, I too will often wet again when I get up out of bed and stand up. If I wake up early, say 4am, I will always change into a dry nappy as I just know I will wet again.
