    Wearing in secret

Two thoughts. Is your husband kink-aware? That may give you an idea of how comfortable he may be with it. I like to flip the question around. How would you react if your husband told you he wanted you to spank him, or that he liked wearing orthopedic leg braces (Abasiophilia - I believe it...

    Understanding the ABDL struggle

This is a very good point. It doesn't have to be a binary choice though - when I told my wife I said it was something I was into but that I struggled with. It's fine (and even good) to admit the is shame and struggle about. I guess honesty is probably the best approach, which makes sense.

    Understanding the ABDL struggle

Sure, I'm happy to share. Like I said in my post, there was a sudden change in my ABDL acceptance within a few weeks of switching from zoloft to prozac. What's super weird to me and I still don't fully understand is why that happened with prozac and not zoloft, when zoloft was also effective...

    Understanding the ABDL struggle

So I have a similar story as many posters in this thread - interested in diapers starting at about age 4 or 5. I never actually indulged and didn't wear diapers (except for the very occasional makeshift diaper with a towel, and one disposable leftover from when I was a baby that I tossed as a...

    Autism/adhd/diapers/*insertmedicalproblem*

It's conditional probability (and Bayes' Rule if you want to get into the math). You're comparing the probability that someone is ABDL if they are neurodivergent to the probability that someone is neurodivergent if they are ABDL. Notice how the conditionals go in opposite directions...

If you know, you know: Suspecting a co-worker is 'one of us'

Yeah, yeah - I almost wrote something about it only holding in populations that are similar to large tech companies. Of course, we'd need to consider if everyone found out about this munch on adisc, consider the number of ABDLs who are active here, how many would be comfortable attending a...

If you know, you know: Suspecting a co-worker is 'one of us'

So the rate of ABDL's in the general population is probably greater than 1/10,000 then - and that's only those comfortable enough to attend a munch. That's super interesting.

Research Question for users who had babies.

Uncommon over a year, and even that might be too old. It probably depends a lot on how much of their diet is solids vs formula when they’re under a year. Current advice on that is to introduce solids at 4-6 months, and stop formula at a year, but can replace with cow’s milk.

Will anyone ever invent a diapering machine?

I year ago I would have said no way, but with recent advances in AI I think it's actually possible now. Look at what this robot can do: https://mobile-aloha.github.io/ Will anyone make it? Probably not. I think the hardware is about $50k. But if someone really wanted it to exist, knew a bit...

Parent's Choice Dry & Gentle Diapers Size 8 coming soon!

Are these might be the first baby diapers that start at 46lbs? Seems like huggies and pampers size 7 are "> 41 lbs," with similar weight ranges in kg for Europe.

Could There Be Any Benefits in Telling?

It sounds like you have a very close and open relationship with your mom. Does that sound right? If so then I'd say there's no harm in telling her. Before you do you should probably think about what you want to get out out of telling her, and what you don't want (i.e. you want to be able to...

Could There Be Any Benefits in Telling?

I realize I'm a little late to reply, but this bit of information seems very important and useful. Why did she buy you pacifiers, and how did she react to that and your thumbsucking? That's not something most people can say has happened with their parents, so while I'd normally say telling...

That was from December :). I did take a break for a bit, and I'm not nearly as obsessive about making sure my unread thread count is at 0 (but that's a good thing!). The situation sucked, and still does, but there are plenty of cool people here still, and no better place online for AB/DL...

    Article Requests Thread

Thanks - I'll consider this permission to get started on a draft. If it doesn't work out, that's fine, but I think it will at least be an interesting exercise for me anyway.
